AES engineers have developed a wide array of hardware for the defense industry, including infrared and visible imaging systems, fire control (targeting) systems, radar receivers, laser systems, and electronics packaging. We have extensive expertise in imaging design, including high-speed video electronics, optical packaging, stabilized platforms, and multiple sensor integration.

AES engineers have played key roles in the development of the US Army second-generation HTI modules, US Army second-generation thermal sights, Javelin missile program, and the US Army M1A2 SEP program. We excel at lightweight design, low cost design, low power electronics design, and all aspects of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and concurrent engineering. AES has expertise in full program execution, from concept development to qualification to assisting in transfer to low-rate initial production.
